  • Yellow/white bumps around eyelids
  • Ulceration around eyelids
  • Contact-lens related infections
  • Eyelashes turning into the eye
  • Pain/redness after contact lens wear


Common signs and symptoms

  • Pain/ discomfort
  • Light sensitivity
  • Red eyes or blood shot eyes
  • Red or swollen eyelids with and without fever
  • Discharge (clear or colored)
  • Watery eyes
  • Itchy eyes
  • Stinging or burning eyes
  • sensation of something in the eye(s)
  • decreased vision
  • double vision (especially recent)
  • one eye not being able to move like the other
  • unequal pupil sizes
  • droopy eyelid (especially recent)

  • flashes of light
