Our Doctors

​​​​​Dr. Yee is a kind and friendly medical optometrist practicing in Southern California. She attended the University of California, Irvine (UCI) where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and studied both French and Spanish. She found her passion for eye care when she joined several non-profit organizations that offered health care services to low-income communities. Dr. Yee then attended the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Through her clinical externships, Dr. Yee received her clinical training in magnificent clinical settings throughout Southern California and Okinawa, Japan. Dr. Yee enjoyed her training in ocular surface disease, dry eye, binocular vision, and ocular eye emergencies. 

Outside of work, Dr. Yee has many hobbies including: spending time with her husband (Bryan) and their dog (Autumn), learning new languages, and traveling.

Dr. Yee speaks fluent Spanish. She can perform an exam in both French and ASL.

​​​​​Dr. Perry Hom is a native of San Diego, California. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Microbiology from San Diego State University, and one in Vision Science from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO). He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from SCCO in 1986.

He enjoys all aspects of optometry, with special emphasis on prescribing lenses to improve occupational and vocational performance, including the specific visual needs of computer users. He is board certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease, including glaucoma. Dr. Hom enjoys giving back to his profession as an Assistant Professor at the Eye Care Center at SCCO, where he has been working with student doctors for over 30 years.

Dr. Hom has been active in a number of community organizations. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Covina Chamber of Commerce, and has been a member of the Covina Rotary Club for 20 years, serving as club President, and several other club positions. Dr. Hom also devotes time to his family, academic career, golf, and home remodeling projects. Dr. Hom and his wife, Dr. Horibe, enjoy attending sporting events of their two children, Brianna and Jordan.

​​​​​Dr. Fran is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and the Pacific University College of Optometry. She completed a post-graduate Residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at the Southern California College of Optometry, where she also served as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy.  She is a certified Fellow of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development, and has given numerous presentations to parents, teachers, optometry students, vision therapists, and other professionals.

Dr. Fran loves working with young people and the young at heart, helping them improve their visual performance for school, work, sports, and life. Her specialized background allows her find creative ways to improve the visual functioning of patients with special needs, such as cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, autism, and traumatic brain injury.

She has served on the Executive Boards of the Asian American Optometric Society, Ranch Hills PTA, and the Studt Foundation.  When not helping patients master their visual potential, Dr. Fran can be found trying to grow her "green thumb" in the garden and not sew over it learning new quilting techniques. She's the eternal cheerleader for her kids, Brianna--who is a pediatric Occupational Therapist, and Jordan--who still loves basketball and has the insider's scoop on the coolest sneakers now that he works for Nike!

​​​​​Dr. Linda Nguyen received her undergraduate degree from University of California, Irvine and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2022. 

At UCI, she was involved in volunteering with a school club, where they provided medical care in places such as the Dominican Republic and Haiti. She then continued her passion in volunteering at Western with VOSH which provided eye care and vision exams for those in need in Mexico and various clinics around Southern California. She received recognition and was selected to be a member of the Gold Key International Honor Society. 

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and eating yummy foods, along with spending time with her family. Some of her favorite places she has traveled to have been Japan and Peru.
